Use a card with a DVI output and you get a DVI / HDMI cable. Set the resolution to 1366x768, which is the resolution of your TV. See http://www.bluejeanscable.co.uk/store/dvi/index.htm

PCI Express x16 is 8 times faster than AGP.

I suppose you connect S-video on your television.
If you have a DVI-HDMI connection from the graphics card and a DVI to HDMI connector on the TV would have a much better idea.
